All dried up I hear no sound coming out your voice Making my call dancing all around In my mind there's something more than a real good time If I took you home would I hold you feeling less or more alone Taking it off you'd look holy, holding you closely Wishing it was what was meant to be undressing before me Lady love playing on my heart sounding like a lute Singing the ways of the days gone by In my time I make the most let my spirits fly Looking for a feeling that's cooped up and screaming inside you When you're taking off you are holy, holding you closely Wishing it was what was meant to be undressing before me Holding you forever by the small of your waist My love I must call you my belle and chain Your arms wide open are a signal of something They're taking my under and away So now we take it off and we're holy, holding you closely Wishing it was what was meant to be undressing before me Maybe what is simply meant to be isn't for me Girl you're my, my belle and chain and I want you to stay that way My belle and chain, my belle

I found a rag and bone bag of parts, Brought them to my bench to build me a heart There was a piece of silk and three bits of steel, A diamond a crutch a ring and a brand new wheel. I held my hammer and turned off the the light All hearts are made in the darkest of night - She will pulse and will beat when my body is cold, She will fall down in love, rise and will be so bold. Sparks were flying my eyes how they burned! (A heart's not a gift, it is made, it is earned) I pray to the god's, be it strong, be it weak, Let it love, let it learn, let is sing let is speak! In the dark I gave form to the parcel of parts, Steel was wrapped in the silk from the start, And the crutch was enclosed with the diamond and ring, And the wheel kept it turning 'till I held a heart that could sing. Heart's don't know what they are or why They are ours and we just don't mind To hide behind them. Do you live in your heart or does it love in you? Do you sing and see things through? So I heaved up my heart into body so dear And I saw what I felt, was it love? Was it fear? Then the blood of the pump gave a meaning to sight And the world was an army of love and the Light! So I ran from the shop empty bag in my hand A line inside from a man to a man. Just a gesture, a word saying, "here is your seed," A diamond, crutch, ring and wheel is all you need. Heart's don't know what they are or why They are ours and we just don't mind To hide behind them. Do you live in your heart or does it love in you? Do you sing and see things through?

I see another place, another time out off the tracks It's indistinct but I can see it be it false or fact I was young but cut a course across the barren tide To heal my heart of the question, "Father who am I?" Seek and you shall see, look and there you will find Go and you shall grow, dance and then you will fly Choose and you have choice, shine and you will be shown Steal the starry light, know and you will be known If there's another place, another time out off the tracks Then keep on running boy believe it, be it false or fact If you're young then cut a course across the barren tide And heal your heart of the question, "Father who am I?" I want to shine and I want to show it and I want the star-bright isles right in the palm of my hand From where I stand I see only open sky I'm running Ithaca down until the day I die
